Medicated Granola

"Hydrate before you Medicate" - Dr. Uma

Whats up everyone,

I'm not new to edibles. But I'm not much of a cook or baker lol

I wanted to try something new and something that would be healthier

My goal was to end up with 20 {1 cup} servings that dosed out to be approximately 100mg of THC

This write up assumes you already have your cannabis infused coconut oil on hand and you should know how potent it is, of course these ingredients can be changed for different serving amounts, and for your taste.

Ingredients :

 

 

  • 1 & 1/2 cups of THC INFUSED COCONUT OIL
  • 4 cups of quick oats
  • 1 & 1/2 cups of sliced almonds
  • 2 cups of corn flakes
  • 1/2 cup of hemp hearts
  • 1 cup of sunflower kernels
  • 4-6 tablespoons of raw honey
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cinnamon

5 cups of dried fruit of your choosing, I used the following :

  • 1 cup of dried banana
  • 1 cup of dried kiwi
  • 1 cup of dried pineapple
  • 1 cup of dried mango
  • 1/2 cup of dried berries
  • 1/2 cup of chopped dates

 

We are going to start by making sure our Medicated oil is melted and in two separate containers (1 cup)  and (1/2 cup)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

 

In a large dish you are going to mix the following, The oats,almonds and sun flower kernels with the 1/2 cup of oil and cinnamon. This will need to be mixed well.

 

After you are sure its mixed as it can get, pour and spread it out onto a baking sheet.

Toss it in the oven, keep an eye on it and mix it every 5 minutes. We are going to let it bake for a total of 15 minutes. Or until light golden brown

Now that we have that going we are going to prepare the dried fruit.

Toss all fruit along with the hemp and corn flakes in a large skillet on low heat. Pour in the  remaining 1 cup of Medicated oil. Stir well and often for 4-5 minutes taking care to not let it burn. Next add the Honey and brown sugar. Continue to mix and cook for another 2-3 minutes.  (take care its wicked easy to burn)

After the 15 minutes is up for the tray in the oven we are going to toss everything together and spread back out onto baking sheet(s)

At this time because I wanted everything to soak up and cook well I spread the mix evenly between two full sized baking sheets and put them back in the oven to cook for another 10-15 minutes. Or until done.
